Bill: Football Equity Act of 3348
Details
Submitted by[?]: Szlachta Walruzyjska
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3349
Description[?]:
Several Valruzian football clubs have petitioned to relinquish their governmental ownership in favor of private ownership. The government should not have unilateral control of footballing clubs, as this allows them to corrupt the very nature of the sport. If this bill passes, the government will relinquish control of all football clubs in the nation, with the exception of national squads, including but not limited to youth squads, etc. The national squad does not own players; it must negotiate with clubs to loan players for a period when they would be needed. Otherwise, clubs are free to establish their own lines of ownership, and are the responsible owners of their respective players. |

Proposal[?] to change The funding of sports clubs.
Old value:: All sports clubs are government owned and run.

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
