Bill: Rejection of "Adamsonite" Currency

Details

Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3351

Description[?]:

The rise of the Adamsonite regime, in Gaduridos, is a stain on the world.
The corrupt Adamsons have fled to Gaduridos to take out their anger on the Gaduri people, even though the Gaduri people have nothing to do with the fact that the Adamsons are sore losers.

Apparently, in Gaduridos, laws have been changed so that:
- "The monarch must be male, be the head of the House of Adamson, and must have the name Jack"
- "The King, the crown, or other royal or national symbols will appear on coins, banknotes, etc."

--

We are neutral in world affairs nonetheless. We are not implying that the Adamson regime should be toppled, but if this bill is passed, we will reject the Adamsonite currency being printed by the current regime. This means the new Gaduri currency is not valued in Beluzia, and cannot be used to by resources or goods from the Beluz Union. The Gaduri people will have to use other currencies that are actually recognised by Beluzia, or simply do without our goods, resources and services.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.

Random quote: "In any country there must be people who have to die. They are the sacrifices any nation has to make to achieve law and order." - Idi Amin
