| OOC: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=89&p=42150#p42150 As of January 3351, Telamonese forces have been mobilized and begun deploying to bases in Majatra, namely in Badara, Dorvish bases in Kafuristan, Camp Sophie in Beiteynu, and naval bases in Jakania. This mobilization and movement is known, but the reasoning is not. As of February 3351, per http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=357419 (TOP SECRET IC), a state of war will be declared by Telamon on Zardugal. The war plan goes as follows: Troops deployed by Telamon to Kafuristan and Badara will be shipped in secret to the east coast of Jelbania, where they will move westward to join the Jelbanian front in fighting Zardic forces there. These troops will comprise the entire Telamonese active military, and 1/2 of the reserves. The Royal Homeland Guard and 1/2 of reserves will remain in Telamon in the unlikely event of a counter invasion. This deployment is expected to be complete by May, 3351. (See: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=89&p=42178#p42178) The timing of the arrival of land forces on the Jelbanian front will be coordinated with the beginning of a naval bombardment on the Zardic west coast, hopefully supported by the Jelbanian navy. With the majority of Zardic attention on Dovani or the Jelbanian front, and with war exhaustion and damage setting in, it is believed that this naval force will meet minimal resistance. This will split the Zardic air force's attention, and will allow the combined Telamonese/Jelbanian ground forces to overwhelm the Zardic line. This movement of troops and ships to the front line and to the Zardic west coast is expected to be complete by mid-June, 3351. At this point Telamonese involvement in the conflict will be declared openly. The Telamonese (and, hopefully, Jelbanian) navy will blockade the Zardic west coast and prevent reinforcements from Dovani, though few are anticipated, as war and rebellion still occupy Zardic forces in Dovani, and their forces are believed to be damaged and exhausted. As the Telamonese/Jelbanian forces overwhelm Zardic troops in Zardugal, they will advance and secure the Zardic mainland. After significant gains are made, Telamon will sue for peace and make demands based on the declaration of war bill linked above. |
