MessageIt's a Foreign Affair. The people of Gaduridos are citizens of Terra, and we members. We must show our opposition. This is a simple, non-violent gesture to show our opposition to a hundred and ninety seven articles, and less than ten with an "or" clause.

I MEAN REALLY
Look at that thing. Can you imagine being a new party (OOC: new player, a new person joining Gaduridos, and realizing you can't change 90% of the laws? How lame is that. Come on, really. This isn't even The Society being political, it's about people showing their opposition to a spoil sport of a player. Scroll through that thing again, see if you don't chuckle at the audacity of such a thing. Vote yes, I know we've had our IC attacks, but just as a player, think about it.)

So we're going to post the Articles of that Treaty. That treaty that you need 66% vote to remove, and which prevents players from gaining visibility to even get that many votes, because of so few "or" clauses.

ToDebating the Ratification of the Non-Recognition of the Adamsonite Regime
MessageOOC: It's not easy. You need 66% of the seats to repeal it. And getting that many seats means you need to change laws. And you admit, you can't change laws with this treaty. I'm know this won't MAKE the new players able to change laws, but if we show enough support as sensible people who appreciate the delicate balance of this game, it will put pressure on that player.

The more nations that say "Oh, hey, this seems to really break the game" or at the very least "this seems in incredibly poor sportsmanship", then something can be done. Moderation just posted an Early Elections in our nation. They're sensible people. This is a sensible way to just show opposition.

Everyone wants to be a dictator, you know? But there is a balance in this game where you recognize that the game itself, the RP and the stories you weave, the back and forth, the flow of things, is what is really the best. I mean look at you and I. We absolutely hate one another IC, but we aren't passing Treaties with 197 articles to prevent the other from doing anything. Gosh, we have private health care now! But that's ok, it makes a good story, it made a news article, it fit with the RP and the spirit of the game.

Scroll through this again. I mean c'mon. The Gestalt of it. (I doubt that translates well)
