Airplanes get more people to far off places faster than they could otherwise. I do think that the airports could adequately fund themselves with the airlines help, on the other hand. Roads must be funded in order for public and private transportation to work; you can't very well walk all the way from a train station to where you work or live. And buses and trains make a good deal of noise as well and are a more widespread problem. |
