| The Progressive Imperial Party feels that some reform in our military is needed, as a result of recent strained relations between ourselves and our neighbours. ARTICLE 1: All citizens of the Federal Union of Gaduridos must serve a term in the military following schooling, are they are to be denied all rights granted to citizens, including franchise, failing legitimate medical grounds denying them the ability to service their nation. ARTICLE 2: The composition of the Armed Forces of Gaduridos shall be reorganised, in order to represent the comparative threats and imporance of various theaters into Defensive Regions, composed of united Naval, Terrestrial and Aerial units as follows: A. INTERNAL DEFENCE -tasked with Interdiction and patrol of the Straight of Gaduridos between the mainland and the islands of Gaduridos . -Includes units trained in police actions, such that they can assist police when their assistance is required. -Composes a central reserve in times of war that can be brought to bear in any of the other Theaters. B. Takurali/Baltusian (WEST) Defence force -Defends our Western border. C. SOUTH Defence Force Responsible for the Sea to the South of Gaduridos, including any actions we are involved in in Moldusia, Ruldanor and Aldegar. D. EAST Defence Force Responsible for operations in the Western Continents and Indrala. E. NORTH Defence Force Responsible for Kalistan and operations around Lodamun, Likatonia, and Northern Continents. F. STRATEGIC Defence Force Responsible for the maintenance and deployment of Strategic weapons, including all ICBMs, MRBMs and Nuclear Missile Submarines carrying a nuclear payload. Also responsible for deployment of any space-based weaponry or anti-Ballistic Missile equipment. ARTICLE 3: The military budget of 600.000.000.000,- GAD will be divided between R&D and the Defence Forces themselves. 150.000.000.000,- GAD will be devoted to military R&D INTERNAL: 40.000.000.000,- GAD WEST: 60.000.000.000,- GAD SOUTH: 80.000.000.000,- GAD EAST: 100.000.000.000,- GAD NORTH: 90.000.000.000,- GAD STRATEGIC: 80.000.000.000,- GAD Daniel Edward Cashion III, Defence Minister, Progressive Imperial Party. |
