Bill: Gated Communities
Details
Submitted by[?]: Green & Liberal Socialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3363
Description[?]:
How can we expect there to be equality when we gate off communities? What message is this law giving? It's an abandonment to members of society, telling them that they are not part of the greater community, cutting them off from the outside world and giving the youth no hope. What's even worse is that the private sector has the right to do this; how can people who have no part in the democratic process have the right to perform something that would be so devastating to people's lives and wellbeing? |
