Message | Is this better? Or should all citizens be issued with them but not have to carry them? |

Message | What does "voluntary" mean? That sounds like, "You can be identified if you want to be." That doesn't help much when it comes to law enforcement. You can end up with mysterious criminals. It doesn't help for agreement enforcement either. People can't keep track of who they talk with. |

Message | The other thing is people shouldn't have to afford ID cards either. If this is "voluntary", then people have to pay for them. That's coercion. People shouldn't have to pay just to prove who they are. They're entitled to their title by default of existence. |

Message | How about all are assigned them, but they do not have to carry them? |
Date | 22:02:45, September 24, 2012 CET | From | Free Labour Party | To | Debating the Un-mandatory Identity Cards |
Message | Sounds nice to us. Everyone should get an id card but its not necessary to carry them. |

Message | I guess... it seems silly though. People who don't carry ID are doing so at their own risk. The police won't have a choice but to lock them up if something bad happens and they're suspect of wrongdoing. That way, they can identify who's suspicious. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
Random quote: "Thousands of Zardic soldiers were sacrificed so that the Zardic government could gain control of a few buildings and Theodoro could pretend to be Augustus the Great. This is the kind of jingoistic ideology Zardugal would bring to the Security Council. They will throw countless lives away in pursuit of former glory." - Prince Akhaias, former Coburan royal |
