MessageYOU CLEARLY
Cannot draft a treaty.

THERE ARE
No terms but one.

NO CONSTITUTIONAL
Provisions.

NO TIMEFRAME
For union.

THIS IS NOT
A treaty with legal force, but a merely declaration.

IMAGINE
The conflict that such a nebulous document would cause!

MessageOOC: Seriously, what sort of a treaty is that? For a good template in our situation, I would suggest looking at the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Radicals. Treaties are a pain. This is an interesting idea, and we commend the Union for attempting it. We are uncertain how much Kafuristan will like this, and if they will agree, but it is a good starting point for the discussion of reuniting and increased foreign relations.

They're not that painful. And when we are talking about something as delicate as a union, one term is not enough. At most it is a statement of commitment to a further negotiation process, not a treaty of union.

MessageThis is indeed just a declaration, since there is no other in game option for this. Defenders of the Vanguards said that once they managed to unite these two countries. I invite them to share some of their know-how.

MessageOOC: I was thinking that al Badara is currently a war-torn country with genocide and civil war and terrorism, and also according the the Paticracy game mechanics, you can't have a tight union. This means that you will have a very devolved government. This meshes very well with the Bosnian situation - a war-torn, loose confederation of two entities.
