| Message | Mr. Speaker, The UPR submits this spending bill before the Parliament in the hopes it will get passed with support from all parties. Given that the country has largely paid back it's debt obligations from the past 80 years, we feel the need to raise spending in certain areas and lower them in others. For instance, Defense spending needs to be increased so we can modernize several naval fleets and purchase new aircraft while increased funding of SciTech will largely be used to focused on growing our biotechnology sector. Rutania can become the leading nation in Artania in terms of biotechnology by the year 3378 if it receives this necessary funding. Steven Breyer UPR Congressional Leader |
