Bill: Call for early elections, July 3376
Details
Submitted by[?]: House Forstev (Liberal Republican Party)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: March 3377
Description[?]:
House Forstev calls for elections on the grounds that the previous elections were threatened by Karav thuggery. The Forstevs were disproportionately punished, while the Denstov coalition was greatly rewarded. Voters were clearly too frightened of Karav-sponsored violence to go to the polls, as nearly half of eligible voters abstained (well over half of Forstev supporters abstained). We therefore charge that the Karavs and Williams are guilty of rigging the election, and call for another. If they are innocent, let them prove that they hold popular support. |
Proposals

Message | The Dennistov/Denstov Coalition is just a sub-coalition within the Royalist coalition. We never had soldiers in the streets until after the election. Now calm down, before the soldiers leave the streets and come inside here... |
