Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: August 3377
Description[?]:
THE CURRENT LAW Is a terrible injustice, allowing those 43 Terran nations wealthier than us to own and operate our own economic destinies. No strong nation allows such a ferocious beast as capitalism to run without restriction. WE MUST CAGE THIS TIGER And use it for the People. We must protect and defend our rights to own and operate industries and services. We are a poor nation, and cannot allow ourselves to be exploited by the allure of dollars. WE SHALL NOT CLOSE OURSELVES OFF From foreign investment, but the whole of the people, we the democratically elected government, shall determine how much of our economic destiny shall be sold to those non-Badarans. The current law allows us to be purchased into wage slavery. This law shall allow us autonomy once again. |
