Message"This bill has nothing to do with art, as Livia Xarfacetious should be aware. Perhaps if the Parlourist wasted less of our time with her inane comments we would spend less time making jokes about her early onset dementia behind her back."

MessageOur lawyers note that as no proposals in the bill relate to the description, the description is presumably dicta or mere hyperbole, and thus the Jelbek/bmtek inclusion is non-binding.

Message"All parts of the bill are binding, of course."

OOC: Obviously like any rp bill it can't be enforced, and in practical terms it makes no difference anyway.

MessageOOC: I felt it easier to just "litigate" away the problem, so as to save us from devolving into a situation where every bill up for vote includes a dicta line on changing the national language.

I imagine though, this could provide an excuse for you and your coalition partner to order your ministries to use the new language, regardless of my characters' litigative moves.

MessageOOC: Yeah you're right, the language thing was really intended as a poison pill; it passing wasn't something I expected.
