Message | Restricting those sales, just like with handguns, would only push them underground and black market transactions are that much harder to track. While the NLP understands the perceived risks with the current policy, we feel that the proposed measures would do little to prevent terrorists or other "harmful fringe groups" from buying up arms. The best way to guarantee peace is to adopt a non-intervention policy and promote free trade, so that economic interdependence will discourage other powers from engaging in war. OOC: Let the record show that the DSF willingly comments on this legislation, but refuses to respond to my comments on the minimum wage elimination and museum privatization proposals. |
