Message | Mr. Speaker, The proposal put forth here is totally acceptable to the Federal Party. If passed I will be happy to allow my ministers to return to work and put an end to this cabinet crisis. I urge the Opposition to vote in favour of this bill if just to bring about the means to an end to the present walkout. Otto van Helsing President, Rutanian Federal Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We disagree with articles 3, 4, 6 and 8. But, on the rest of the articles, we will compromise. We suggest the following compromises to help the poor with limited amount of government: -Energy is provided by private, unregulated companies but subsidies are given to those on a low income. -Health care is private, but is paid for by the state for people with low incomes. -There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a single full time worker on it can adequately subsist. -Pre-school education is private, but the government covers the school costs of poor families. Mark Stentzel, President of Rutania. |

Message | Mr. Speaker There will be no removal of any proposals but we are willing to modify some proposals. 1) Energy can be provided by private companies but they must be regulated to ensure they do not set prices above the ability of the population to pay. 2) Healthcare needs to be separated we do not feel that private companies should be allowed to profit off the Governments programs designed to assist the population. So having two Healthcare options allow the people to make the choices on their own. 3) We met the "middle" requirement for minimum wage, if left to us there would be a living wage but we digress. 4) We are will to meet the Pre-School education proposal you have stated. Richard Wilcox RRP Chairman |

Message | Mr. Speaker 1) We are willing to allow the government to pay for the poor's energy, but we will not allow the government to regulate a market that shouldn't be regulated. It is in our opinion, that energy companies will assist and adapt to their customers to reach a fair price. This issue really depends on if you trust companies' prices over the government prices. Our party believes that not all companies are evil and they will reach a fair price for their goods. 2) Healthcare shouldn't be separated. Private healthcare can be as helpful as public. It all depends on your location, doctor and hospital. Public healthcare is another a government-run program, which we believe that if it does pass, it should be up to the local government. Why should people that never use healthcare be taxed for others' care? 3) We think that giving minimum wage at a level where a full time worker on it can support a family of four is ridiculous. We believe our compromise is much more fair to the government and the rich that will probably be taxed the money that can afford this. We believe that if the adults in the family work, they can achieve a sustainable living. Mark Stentzel, President of Rutania. |

Message | Mr. Speaker In light of the recent election as well as the UPR's attempts to stop the strike, we believe that this bill should be voted on now in order to begin settling the changes. We believe this bill provides the best course of action as far as meeting in the middle. If the RRP had its way this bill would have done been thrown out because it allows the few to gain the majority of the nations wealth at the expense of the majority of citizens who need medical care and other services...however we believe that while BOTH sides do not agree with this bill maybe that is EXACTLY what we need right now. It is time the parties agree to disagree and if that means passing a bill that makes both sides feel like they loss some ground then by God for the good of the people I am willing to vote in favor of it. And I pray that the other parties can look past their own greedy intentions and do the same. You want the ministers back to work...then pass this bill and lets move on. Nathanel Ellioton Prime Minister |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The UPR will not vote for this bill as the RRP has refused to compromise with the UPR and her allies. We ask that the LFP and RLP vote against this sad attempt by the current government to stay in power. Mariana Jiménez UPR Congressional Leader |
