Message | The Military has acted as the guardians of peace since the 2nd Narik War, and the organisation has existed for over hundred years. Changing from Military Police to Civilian Police would cause a strain on the organisation of law-enforcement, and it would be costly for our taxpayers. The Coalition does not believe changes should be made at this time. Military Service has been a long running tradition in Narikatonite Empire, and in the Mainland Republics and Kingdoms, and as such we see no reason to change it. Strong military and large reserve is our most important line of defence against external and internal threats. Homosexuality is a sin and unnatural, and has no place in the Commonwealth. The military should search for these savages actiavely in their own ranks and bring them to justice. |

Message | By placing so much power in the hands of the military in regards to civilians life how can we be truly safe? History has shown time and time again that abuses of power arise from the hoarding of power in the hands of the few. Our party is by no means advocating the relaxation of the powers of arrest that this new police force should have - but surely we have moved on from such times as our previous wars? Our party in light of your comments would remove Art.3 from this Bill in exchange for a promise to support Art.2. The military can be called up in times of emergency, why should an overbearing government intrude on individual freedoms in times of peace? As for The Coalition's views on Art.1 our party finds your views abhorrent and finds it illogical that this government's current position is to draft up homosexual men against their will, only to shame them and humiliate them months afterwards with a military tribunal. |

Message | Homosexuality and other acts of Sodomy are already illegal in the Commonwealth, so having the Military not seeking those who break the laws of our nation is illogical. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
