Message | The ACP believes that the fewer taxes imposed on corporations, the more they can grow thus resulting in more jobs for a larger amount of people and more industry occuring in Aloria. We also believe that strikes stop production, which can threaten the Alorian economy, and because another law requires that workers be payed above the poverty line, there is no true justification for a strike. It would be better for companies to at least be able to fire workers who they believe are stopping production with no justification. The ACP also believes that monopolies result in no innovation or competition in an industry, thus allowing the company to raise prices to whatevery they wish to and there is no incentive for them to innovate. If monopolies are broken up, then businesses may compete for consumers which can bring the prices down, and Aloria can be able to remain a home for innovation and creation. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
