Bill: Recognition of John Hallam as North Beluz President - November 3408

Details

Submitted by[?]: Beluz Democratic Karavist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3408

Description[?]:

John Lestal has received 34/66 of the support of the People's Assembly for him to become President. This is a clear majority, greater than 50%, therefore we should recognise him as President.

At the same time, he will resign as Minister-General of the bloc, to allow a new person to take that position.

MessageJohn Lestal won the elections, not John Hallam. Therefore we do not see any reason to recognize John Hallam as the president of North Beluzia.

MessageWe're bemused at the fact that the Karav's have chosen to exclude us from government - once again - and have attempted to get into bed with the other political groups while they're at it.

MessagePlease, Sirs, stop chatting crap. The Karavs have nothing to do with North Beluzia, and it's your fault this is happening. For some ridiculous and childish reason, you refuse to recognise John Lestal as the President in the same bill we proposed to include you in the cabinet. We were told, by members of another party, to exclude you so that the bill would pass.

We made a mistake in this bill.
Here is the corrected one: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=367832
Here is the one which you, the Adamsons, are pretending never existed: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=367751
