| Pornography, in the same way as prostitution, is harmful to equal relations between the sexes as it exploits, degrades and dehumanises women by turning their bodies into sexual commodities. We believe that its eradication is therefore vital for the creation of a socialist society where women are respected and treated as equal members of humanity. |

| Message | Whilst in principle I agree with your observations , I do not believe it is the governments place to censor any type of publication , nor to limit the actions of consenting adults where money is not used to place someone "over the barrel" seeing as the pornagraphy industry is fully unionised and otherwise regulated I doubt it is an example of exploitation. |

| Message | Pornography in itself is the capitalist exploitation of women and this can never be eliminated no matter whether it is regulated or has the representation of trade unions. The pornography industry encourages sexism and bigotry towards women by turning them into sexual commodities instead of equal members of society and it must be closed down before Endralon can complete the path towards socialism and communism. |

| Message | The problem is the precedent we'd be setting for the state. The state exists to protect its citizens from exploitation , Pornography isn't exploitative unless the position (economic or otherwise) of the actors/actresses is "exploited" to push them to work in the industry when they would rather not. There is a legitimate sector of the work force who desire to make their living wage as pornstars , we cannot force our morals on them. The sections of pornography that would be exploitative are mostly allowed to prosper through lack of unionisation and regulation. As to women as commodities, firstly pornography isn't exclusively about women, secondly I really don't see any evidence that people have trouble seperating fantasy from reality in pornography, this effect is mostly caused by effects such as culture and parenthood , much harder to deal with than just banning something I know but often thats just how it is. |

| Message | Pornography certainly is exploitative as whether women are forced into it or not they are still degraded, dehumanised and inevitably reduced to sexual commodities which has nothing to do with parenting or culture. It does affect women more and generally exploits them to a greater extent than it does towards men although the bill will still eradicate all forms of pornography. |

| Message | arn't you just applying your own morality to this situation how is using the work of a man or women within pornography different than using the work of a man or woman in the steel industry , if the actors/tresses are not degraded/dehumanised neither is the gender. Furthermore how are we supposed to classify pornography? Nudity ? depiction of the sexual act? It seems an impossible task without destroying large sections of artwork and free expression. |
