MessageThe SSP approached this cabinet with the following objectives:

1. To retain the United Centrist candidate, from the most senior of all parties in the Republic, as our head of government.
2. To ensure that ministries were distributed, roughly, according to each party's electoral performance and general activity.
3. To allocate a minimum of one ministry to any political party which holds seats in the current Parliament of Solentia.
4. To preserve and strengthen the spirit of consensus democracy, and to establish a popular government of national unity.

On the basis of this, we firstly allocated the Premiership to the United Centrists. We then distributed the remaining twelve ministries on a proportional basis: UC - 3 (plus HG), SSP - 3, SGJP - 2, CFAP - 2, OFP - 2. We believe this to be the fairest method of ministerial allocation. It is fair and grounded in reality, yet also inclusive and broad.

However, the SSP would like to make one additional comment. This cabinet is not intended as a snub to either the NMP or URP. Once you either of you wins Parliamentary representation, even one seat, we shall gladly support a new cabinet which includes your party. For the moment, however, we do feel the cabinet should be limited to sitting MPs.

MessageOh - the other point is we have allocated ourselves the Ministry of Finance, due to the UC having no concerns regarding the SSP trying its hand at... well, messing up the budget, probably. ;-)

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.

Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower
