Details
Submitted by[?]: Urban Party of Rutania
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3473
Description[?]:
RACE/ETHNICITY: Rutania is a diverse nation filled with six primary ethnicities, spanning 3 racial groups. Whites are primarily Rutanian, which are the descendants of Dundorfians and some Duntrekkers. Those groups are directly from Dundorf. Gao-Showa (OOC: Asians) are mostly Kunhito (OOC: Japanese) and have primarily come from Beluzia with a small number of Kyo (OOC: Korean) immigrating from Dovani. Blacks are mostly Black Alorian (OOC: African-American) and trace their history back to Aloria when they were used as slaves. -77% White --81% Rutanian --10% Dundorfian --5% Duntrekker --4% Luthorian -14% Gao-Showa --97% Kunihito --3% Kyo -6% Black --100% Black Alorian -3% Other LANGUAGE: The primary and official national language of Rutania is Luthorian (OOC: English). Given Rutania's history, there is also a small group of people who speak Dundorfian (OOC: German). RELIGION: Rutania is one of the few nations in Artania that is secular in nature. For those that do subscribe to a religion, most follow Hosianism (OOC: Chrisitanity) with a few Yeudists (OOC: Jewish) and Jienists (OOC: Confucianism). Given Rutania's proximity to Luthori, most Hosians are Luthoran (OOC: Protestant) with the rest being Patriarchal (OOC: Catholic). -65% Non-Religious/Atheist/Agnositc -35% Religious --91% Hosianism ---62% Luthoran ---38% Patriarchal --5% Yeudism --3% Jienism --1% Other NAMING: Characters may bear either English, Germanic or Asiatic names. The primary ethnicity of Rutania is English, thus the largest majority of the characters would be English, however, there is a growing movement in Artania (specifically Northern Artania) to return to the Germanic roots it was founded upon, thus more characters should be Germanic in nature. Remember, this doesn't mean ALL characters need to be German, just a few. Likewise given the small Gao-Showa minority, a few characters can be named Asian names, provided they are Anglicized. These rules will also apply to parties as well, so if you are a party which supports a more German-like Rutania, you of course can name your party in German, provided an English translation of the name is given in your party's description.
