MessageMadam Speaker, why not three-storey luxury houses for everyone? Why not private jets and luxury holidays on demand, paid for by the state? Every citizen must have the right to eat truffles three times a day and should be granted three bottles of high-class champagne per month by the government!

If this sounded ridiculous to the Hon. Members, then they are right with their judgment. The same principle, however, has just been proclaimed by the Prime Minister.

MessageMadam Speaker,
We support the fostering of a better Dranland. We do not believe that nationalizing private, and successful, companies will achieve this goal. At the moment there is no wide-scale exploitation of the people. There is no price fixing, nor any scandals involving the rail industry. We must wonder why this is necessary.

I yield.

MessageMadam Speaker, I am not the one who supports taking wealth created by others and showering it on three-storey luxury houses, private jets, luxury holidays, truffles and champagne for people who did not earn it. The one who supports doing this, Madam Speaker, is the Honourable Member Craig Warwick, who wants to maintain a grossly unjust socio-economic system which keeps undeserved wealth, privileges and power in the hands of the bourgeois elite.

Madam Speaker, I would like to remind the Honourable Member David Vegros Montavez that some years ago there was a horrific train crash in Dranland which killed nearly 200 years ago. This tragedy occured at a time when our rail system was in private hands, and I for one do no believe it would have occured had profit not been prioritised over passenger safety.

MessageMadam Speaker, the Rt. Hon- Gentleman's reference to an accident that happened decades ago is pathetic. Do we also disarm all citizens because a single individual happened to use a gun for criminal goals? Wait... the DSP actually did, my apologies for this bad example. What I was meaning to say is that we can't hand all services over to the state because the left-wingers believe that the people are too stupid for voluntary association and exchange. However, they seem to believe that legislators and government bureaucrats are enlightened, inherently flawless wise men who are both omnipotent and omniscient. What a crude world view, Madam Speaker!
