Bill: Vaccinations Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3427

Description[?]:

Free conscience ought to be respected, but we believe it appropriate to press parents a little more firmly to get their children vaccinated. Unless vaccinations are carried out on a significant scale, their impact is often limited.

MessageMadam Speaker, the current policy is less pervasive and thus preferable from a liberal view. However, if the Minister is willing to release statistics on the percentage of children vaccinated against the most important diseases, and if said percentage is deemed to low, we would be willing to change our mind.

MessageMadam Speaker, I refer Dr. Thornton to a medical article which argues, with regards to vaccination, that...

"There’s a direct correlation between the ease with which exemptions are granted and exemption rates...there is a link between ease of exemption and disease prevalence rates..."

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols.
