Message | (OOC: The title alone makes me want to vote against this bill ;-) Seriously, the US has fixed prices and few competition, I don't think Dranland has such a policy). |

Message | OOC: Similarity is that Dranland spends near 4.5% of its GDP near a quarter of its budget on healthcare for what drug and healthcare subsidies for people with low income that is just like us spend a waste on subsidies, if you create public system at least we spend it more efficiently also we can charge of some part of hospital bills to people with middle and high income. So we will have some profit than we can cut the budget and taxes a little bit. |

Message | Madam Speaker, I commend the Greens for bringing forward this excellent Bill, which will make Dranland's health system much more efficient and much fairer. Maria Jimenez MP (Minister of Health & Social Services OOC: LOL at "Maddocare"!! I generally agree with the points made by the Greens player. The private American health care system is incredibly inefficient. Just think of all the money they have to spend on their bureaucratic health insurance schemes as well. Britain's National Health Service has its problems, but I'm proud of it and think it is better than most other systems. |

Message | OOC: It may be private, but with all the price fixing and restrictions on competition across states it isn't really 'free market', it is in fact a corporatist, semi-socialist/semi-capitalist mess. Rand Paul explains it well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHkfITHeJss |

Message | OOC: Yeah, I'd prefer a private system. If you're really desperate maybe the government can hand a bit of money to you, but that aside, it should be private. Public systems don't work as well, I think, and a chaotic free market-socialist mix, as Alain said, is probably even worse, |
