MessageYou claim that we ignored our history... right. Let's make Vorona the monarchy it once was then?

MessageI'm not. I'm doing quite the opposite. I'm restoring many of the typical features of Vorona. If you're voting against then you obviously have no knowledge of Vorona's history.

MessageRight. I'm looking forward to a bill reintroducing the monarchy into the country then? Vorona started off as a monarchy after all

MessageYou just argued against me proposing to withdraw from numerous treaties... Do you actually support a monarchy?

MessageI argue against withdrawing almost all of the treaties we abide to, including important ones such as the one on an international court. Such treaties must not be withdrawn from if we want to stay relevant in the international stage. And yes, I am open to the idea of a monarchy. At least the head of state will be absolved from politicking, thus ensuring a neutral head leading a nation, hence providing continuity.

MessageSo you party is supposedly socially liberal but your support a monarchy yet you oppose a head of state with meaningful powers? Bizarre.

MessageI believe that a head of state should be apolitical and for Vorona's case, a monarchy due to its history. It does not contradict with my political beliefs. I do not oppose a head of state with meaningful powers, but these "meaningful powers" should not include the right to form governments, which should be the job of political parties. Does this make it clearer to you?

MessageOne of the key aspects of any form of liberalism is supporting democracy and democratic systems of government. As a liberal party ourselves we are aware that liberalism certainly opposes tyrannical and elitist forms of government such as monarchies. Vorona has not been a monarchy for hundreds of years, and going back to that system would be reminiscent of being ruled by Deltaria.

(The only powers that heads of state can have in Particracy is to propose the cabinet, its either that or none)
