Message | Mr. Speaker, we are concerned that if this was passed, right-wing councils might decide to throw the poor out of their houses and onto the streets - because that's the kind of people GNP and PP councillors are! Antonio Benandez MP (Leader of the DSP) |

Message | Mr Speaker, I take issue with the Honourable member Benandez's comment about GNP and PP councillors. I personally know that our PP councillors would never do what Mr Benandez is suggesting. Instead, they would wish to place tenants in the private rented sector. However, we believe this issue, and the others in this bill, should be decided by the national government. Message | Mr Speaker We love the idea of more powers to local government but drugs is a kind of a issue that federal government needs to control. Einion Celyn Maddock MP from Elbian Interim Deputy Leader of Greens Parliamentary Health Spokesman of Greens Parliamentary |

Message | Mr Speaker, the DSP leader is a hypocrite for slamming the government for inflammatory rhetoric at every occasion while collectively defaming thousands of GNP/PP councillors in the Provinces and accusing them of being heartless monsters. Anyway, we agree that housing policies should be left to federal authorities, we must not allow local DSP governments to nationalize the private homes the people have built themselves, which they would without a doubt do if they had the power to accomplish it, as absolute state control is the essence of the communist ideals Mr Benandez has subjected his party to. Danielle Dayton MP Member for Elbian GNP Spokeswoman for Infrastructure |

Message | Mr. Speaker, we all know by now that the GNP and the PP only care about rich people and never about poor people. I have little doubt that if GNP/PP councils gained control of housing policy, then the poorest would find themselves in a great deal of difficulty in terms of meeting their housing needs. And as usual, Danielle Dayton has gotten it wrong. A DSP government would radically redistribute wealth in Dranland and would greatly enlarge our stock of social housing, but would not deny people the ability to buy the property in which they live. |

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman |
