MessageThe AF supports subsidizing low-income farmers, but we oppose the current policy of subsidizing crops which are arbitrarily deemed to be beneficial to the environment. Furthermore, we see absolutely no reason why the commercial fishing industry should be state-run.

MessageI definitely can't support this bill with Article 2, but I'm confused about Article 1. I want both of those things to happen, not choose one over the other.

MessageOOC: I agree that Article 1 does seem weird- the two are not mutually exclusive. But being ecological skeptics, the AF would want to end subsidies for "ecological" crops. Some elements of the AF might not even be too thrilled about subsidizing low-income farms, but Pfaff is a bit to the left of his party there, for personal reasons. And since he holds the Ministry...

I've actually written short bios for all of my frontbenchers. I'm just waiting on the HDV to publish them on the forums in the form of an article introducing leaders to the cabinet.

MessageOkay. I think I still won't vote for it though, Article 2 is unacceptable to the SDAP.

MessageThe HDV will stick up for our farmers and seek to keep this vital industry in business. We will therefore oppose this act, in order to perpetuate the role our farmers have in shepherding our valuable rural landscapes.

MessageWe feel that the HDV's logic on this issue is erroneous. The current law grant subsidies only to those farms who grow certain crops that the government considers beneficial to the environment, with no regard to their financial situation. This proposal will grant subsidies based on who needs them, rather than who decides to grow certain government-approved crops.

This is the kind of jingoistic ideology Zardugal would bring to the Security Council. They will throw countless lives away in pursuit of former glory." - Prince Akhaias, former Coburan royal
