Bill: Federation act of 3436

Details

Submitted by[?]: Alorian Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3436

Description[?]:

Thanks to major changes in Alorias governence, where the regions have great powers to decide over the health, the education, the environment and its economy, we Alorian Freedom Party Alorian Nationalist Party , suggest that Aloria officially should be a federation.

And through our legacy from Dundorf, the anglo-alorian heritage, nations, or parts of nations, has been ruled by kings, dukes or counts. We, AFP and ANP, believe that Aloria need to be governed by a president, as it has been for thousands of years. But the ancient kingdoms, Kurmal, Krentori, Gavonshire, Sildar and Ultran, has, despite hundreds of years of republican pressure, never lost their ancient kings, they still live in the kingdoms, and has very high-ranking positions. Our current president, Gaius the Winters, for example, originated from Alorias last king, King Charles XVIII. We therefore propose that the states will be converted into kingdoms, where the king will have the power equal to the current mayor.

The name of our nation, the Democratic Republic of Aloria, we propose to replace by the Federated Kingdoms of Aloria. The House of Representatives should also change its name to the Federal National Council.

We have also chosen to design a new flag that complies with the new Federation: http://i48.tinypic.com/pnbxw.jpg

We, AFP and ANP, has long worked to implement this, as we believe that this is the best solution for Aloria. The last civil war demonstrates the need for greater freedom for the regions, and it was this freedom that made the people to stand on our side.

For Freedom, for Aloria!

MessageThe ADP sees no reason to change the Alorian flag, we could spend the money on much more important matters for Aloria. Our current flag still best represents this Federation of Kingdoms!

ADP will consider voting for this bill if you take out article 1.
