This bill deals with special powers and autonomy given to the armed forces during war or a regional emergency.
1.armed forces are allowed to detain any person with suspicious behaviour without a warrant for upto 24 hours. However if any person is sexually harassed or tortured during this period the captors will face a minimum imprisonment of 5 years ora maximum imprisonment of upto 25 years.
2. Armed Forces can declare curfews without prior permission from the local or central governments.
3. Any rioter or protester shot may not move to the court for justice. But can claim the benefit of doubt and can demand an investigation.
