Message | So why can't a child deliver newspapers or do gardening for money? |
Date | 02:27:32, December 13, 2005 CET | From | Bonetrom Socialist Party | To | Debating the Socialist Reform Act |
Message | To the NFP... a child delivering newspapers is not relevant in today's society as adults with cars have the job... that was back in the 50's when they rode bikes... and gardening for money??? since when do you see children doing that???... also, the law pertains to manual labor as in factory work... |
Date | 03:16:08, December 13, 2005 CET | From | National Farmers' Party | To | Debating the Socialist Reform Act |
Message | So adults spend hundreds of dollars on fuel to deliver newspapers? Last time I checked children/teenagers still rode bikes, did gardening and stacked shelves in the local supermarket. What's wrong with manual labour in a factory? What's wrong with packaging goods into a box? There are sufficient regulations (hence: '...with additional regulations to those of adult labourers'.) to ensure working conditions are good. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
