Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, the state continues to stifle innovation and competition in the infrastructure sector with its iron fist. Government-run and tax-subsidized companies are always wrong from an economic and moral point of view, because they have no incentive to improve their services while living off taxpayer money. Furthermore, the best sources of energy need to be chosen by free market mechanisms, not by government favoritism. This bill will put and end to the injustices of big government. Danielle Dayton MP Member for Magadonia GNP Spokeswoman for Infrastructure |

Message | Mr Speaker, investments are fine, but better conducted with private money. Let the people decide themselves how to spend their money instead of pursuing megalomaniac infrastructure projects. Danielle Dayton MP Member for Magadonia GNP Spokeswoman for Infrastructure |

Message | Mr. Speaker, this is a deeply irresponsible Bill which will do tremendous mischief to the public interest. Imposing a privatised, unregulated postal service will result in consumers being ripped off, and people living in some rural areas will be left entirely without a postal service. Abolishing subsidies for renewable energies is extremely short-sighted and will hinder our ambition to move towards more sustainable energy production. Contracting out highway projects to private companies will vastly increase the cost to the tax-payers because these companies will want to rip us off and make profits. It also represents giving government money to private companies - something the GNP has condemned as "corporatism" in the past. If the GNP is against companies living off public money, they why are they introducing a proposal which does precisely this? Antonio Benandez MP (Leader of the Opposition) |

Message | Mr.Speaker, I feel that this bill will lose our control over the infrastructure of this country. We should not be jeopardizing our infrastructure. If anything Mr.Speaker, we should be investing in our future of our infrastructure. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
