Message | We are devoted to protecting our environment. In order to ensure that we follow through on that, we must keep the ban and keep it at the national level. If we gave the power to local governments, it would allow the possibility of harm to the environment. We will vote no. |
Date | 19:31:14, February 16, 2013 CET | From | Indigoblå Liga | To | Debating the The Use of Pesticides. |
Message | Although we echo the sentiments of the KSA on firm environmental protection, we in the Indigoblå Liga recognize that chemical pesticides are vital to a strong agricultural sector. We vote yes to encourage economic growth which must be balanced with ecological concerns. Local governments are more likely to understand the regional impact of these chemicals and can make better decisions based on their local perspective. |
