Bill: GMO Regulation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Algemeyner Manarkistishen Arbeter Bund
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3447
Description[?]:
Our current research about the long-term effects of GMOs consumed by humans is insufficient to consider them harmless. We know that they are rapidly cross-polinating with natural strains of crops through dispersal by the wind and thus contaminating them. We need to carefully preserve natural cultivars, so our party is proposing a production freeze on GMOs for the time being. Also, consumers have a right to know what they are buying and consuming. |
