Message | You go agaist the environment bill that proposes tax rises, then you go and open this with tax rises alot more extreame than the ones we proposed? We will vote no, as you have no consistency. |

Message | The environment bill included the enforcement of environment friendly cars. We care more for industry than trees and are against such regulation. There is no lack of consistency. |

Message | These are ridiculous. We feel the finance minister should move to increase income tax. We feel sales taxes are fine as they are. |

Message | Well, suggestions for amendment, what would be acceptable? |
Date | 08:35:54, December 14, 2005 CET | From | National Fascisti | To | Debating the The Tax Reform 2155 |
Message | Whilst we believe we need to increase revenue, this is far too extreme. Article 1, Corporation Tax, we propose 30%. Article 2, Sales Tax (Essential Goods), we could not support any higher than 15%. Article 3, Sales Tax (Luxury Goods), we agree with. These are not necessities, and we do not wish to promote an Empire of decadent sybarites. |

Message | 10% on essential goods should be the max, they are essential after all. Corporation tax should be 35% to get a resonable growth but limit comapny profits, what does a company need a bank of billions for when we can use it for was machines( or fixing the environement :) ) luxury goods should be high as they are luxury so not really needed by the citizens, so those that want them can pay for them. |

Message | We will amend in light of the Trax Party and National Fascisti's suggestions. In fact, as well feel that the Trax Party's proposal is most reasonable, we will put forward that. |
Date | 13:52:03, December 14, 2005 CET | From | Progressive Imperial Party | To | Debating the The Tax Reform 2155 |
Message | We feel that income tax is the answer, and will not support any increases in sales taxes. |
