| Following KRP's concerns De venstregrønne has made a second tax proposal which exempts all those earning less than 10,000 KKR from paying tax. The top rate is unchanged at 80%. This proposal will almost eliminate the deficit and if it passes we will also make a budget proposal with very slight cuts in some areas. Parties can choose whichever of our two proposals they prefer. |

| Message | It doesn't since the tax rates apply only to income earned above that point. For example if you earn 35,000 you pay 0% of the first 10,000, 30% of the next 10,000, 40% of the 10,000 after that and then 50% of the final 5,000. |
