Bill: Liberation act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3453
Description[?]:
While we, the Werin Da, seeks to implement the concept of a Socialist market economy in Dranland, we can show that this will in many ways be even more free than the current system. In today's Dranland, creativity is stopped through the evil idea of copyright, government must approve all arms sales, kids can't sell lemonade at the streets because of labelling restrictions, are not allowed to buy cigarettes or snuff for their parents and are discriminated by an over-sensitive "content ranting" on video game boxes. About the last issue, while we believe that pornography should be outlawed, and that applies for video gamed too, violence in games and on TV is a good way of nurturing future soldiers and making boys grow men. Therefore, these restrictions should be done away with. Let people be liberated! |
