Date | 00:42:38, March 10, 2013 CET | From | Urban Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Corporation Tax Bill |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Raising the corp. tax would deal a significant blow to our economy. Rutania is one of the few nations that can afford to have a tax rate of 0% and the UPR intends to keep it that way. James McCann UPR Congressional Leader |
Date | 05:20:48, March 10, 2013 CET | From | Minarchist League of Rutania | To | Debating the Corporation Tax Bill |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The RLP agrees completely with the statement issued by Mr. McCann. Our budget already has a surplus, so there is no reason to raise any taxes. Rutanian industries will suffer from the passing this bill. Steven Jensen Jr. Minister of Trade & Industry |
Date | 23:49:42, March 10, 2013 CET | From | Workers' Solidarity Movement | To | Debating the Corporation Tax Bill |
Message | Mr Speaker, With all due respect to the gentlemen from the Urban and Liberty Parties, they are acting as though this is the end of the world! This Bill calls for companies to make a very small contribution to Rutania, smaller even than the lowest level of income tax, so that companies too can share in making Rutania a better place. Mason Pratt (WSM - Feynport Central) Former Minister for Finance |
Date | 23:50:05, March 10, 2013 CET | From | Green Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Corporation Tax Bill |
Message | We wholeheartedly support this proposal. Corporations, as they make huge profits, have a duty to contribute towards the funding of public services. Introducing corporation tax would - although it seems all parties have not noticed - allow us to cut income tax and reduce the burden on low-income earners. Olimpia Yates Parliamentary Leader, Green Party of Rutania |
