Bill: Taxation of Religious Institutions Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Gukmindang

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3453

Description[?]:

Religious institutions are not profit-maximising companies with shareholders to satisfy. They exist for the spiritual benefit of those they serve. We therefore insist that it is not fair to tax religious institutions as though they are companies, because they are not. The taxman should keep his hands out of the church collection pot!

Haneul Han MP
General Secretary of the Gukmindang
