MessageDer sehr ehrenwerte Martin Wechsler MR, AF Leader (AF, Kuratha):

"Herr Prasident, in these uncertain political times, it is imperative that the Empires are governed by an effective coalition. My discussions with other parties have led me to believe that the Vereinigte Bund cannot lead a coalition that will retain the confidence of a majority of this chamber. I have thus made the difficult decision to rely on the Freisinnige Volkspartei to provide supply and confidence to a minority government. It is my firm belief that this coalition is in the best interests of the Hulstrian and Gao-Showan peoples."

Message''Mr. Speaker, firstly the VB would like to note its disgust, secondly we would address those 50% of AF voters who expressed the VB as a second choice, and ask them to consider very carefully who they will vote for at the next election'.

Message"Herr Präsident,

This proposed government is an adequate for this difficult political period, and it is our opinion that such a forward-thinking government will be able to combat the issues that face Hulstria and Gao-Soto by putting aside our differences and working together in the hope of a stream of beneficial legislature for the Reichstag to approve."

MessageMr. Speaker, I am repulsed by the idea that any prospective government would like to grovel to the FVP, a party of extremists, for support.

MessageHerr Präsident,,

I am perplexed by the fact that people perceive that there is any difference between the FVP and the VB in terms of how extreme they are. The gentleman from Budenlar was proposing to give the other extreme the Staatsministerium, and now he objects to a moderate, Septembrist Government which regrettably had to negotiate confidence and supply with the FVP? I find that a bit hypocritical.

In this time, the centre needs to stick together against the wings. I hope the honourable member will take our outstretched hand and help us govern for the best of the Crownlands, and that he will put aside ideological differences in the interest of good governance in a difficult political time.

MessageMr. Speaker, we were not particularly happy with the VB being put in a position of responsibility, but the simple fact is that they at least uphold freedom - excessively though, in that they support anarchy - instead of degrading it. Furthermore, I fail to grasp how this government can be one of "good governance in a difficult political time" when they are kissing the feet of extremists and selling out the country. We are willing to put aside ideological differences - in fact, our centrism means that we are probably more willing than most to do so - but the differences between us and what is essentially a fascist party are too great to be reconciled.

MessageOOC: Not really. We have some sort of basic ideology. It's just that we're more willing to bend with the flow that most.
