Message | We have no minimum wage, this leads to people being treated as cattle or slaves. We must uphold the dignity of the human person...it is our hope we can achieve this by having a minimum living wage and adding a tiny level of protection to our local industry. (we're not in favour of protectionism, but we should only have free trade with those who do likewise...) |

Message | Putting the minimum wage well above the poverty level will lead to inflation. Prices rise to match the wages, more jobs are absorbed into minimum wage making toilet cleaners and computer programmers get equal pay, and generally it leads to making Alorian money worthless and everyone being paid equally low. This is communism! If you want some kind of minimum wage, make it lower and thus fair. Minimum wage jobs aren't supposed to support families. It's *minimum* wage. It's madness if a 15-year-old boy working the summer gets paid as much as a professional worker... |

Message | A fair wage is just, it isnt communism. At the moment we have people working for slave wages....we want a living wage...that those who work fulltime have enough to live on...not just a subsistence wage. Treating people like mere units of production and ignoring their dignity is the communist attitude! |

Message | also this isnt a universal wage, its a minimum wage....people can of course be paid more than the minimum wage....thus I dont know if your 15 year old working fulltime example really works... |
