| "Property must be secured, or liberty cannot exist." This act seeks to restore property rights and liberties to those in Aldegar who are deprived of their property rights for artificial reasons. The first measure seeks to restore choice to owner's of bars and restaurants who currently have no choice. Let the market dictate whether smoking is allowed in bars and restaurants instead of using governmental force to damage the market by ridding the market of a large demographic. The second part of the act calls for an end to the pointless banning of property owners from having gates communities. Unless I'm mistaken we allow apartment buildings to have locked doors with the only method of getting in by key or invite of the apartment patron, we do this to allow people to feel secure. Why should we deny this very same right to those who own propety instead? |
