| Message | Mr. Speaker, Our corporate tax rate is already low, and I fail to understand why we would lower are already low corporate tax rate in order to make actually buying things more expensive. However, if this is the only budget reform that makes it to the floor, we will consider it. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker, The reason we propose the following changes is that by lowering the corporate tax we will spur business as a whole to do better and thus increase wages/salaries. This in turn will generate a boost for our economy. In addition by increasing the tax on the Income take by 1% we will be able generate more revenue to pay for the increase in healthcare spending. Finally, by increasing the luxury tax we will be able to make the tax field more fair by making those that earn more pay more for the luxury items that they want. I yield. |
