Message | We've said it before: "It is our nations foremost assignment to defend our borders and to protect our citizens. Therefore it is neccesary to introduce conspription in the army". But.......if we allowed conspription only during war time, it would already be to late. Is it not every hobrazians duty to stand up to protect there country. And this wil only be possible if they have had an education in doing so...... The cost will also be lowered, when many state assignments will be taken care of by the ones doing civil national service. Thererfore we would like to see a proposal saying that all adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option |

Message | If we are to have conscription, an increase in the military budget would be needed to cover the increased costs. So what are we going to reduce spending on? |

Message | This law will implement conscription _only_ in the event of war. Under those circumstances the defense budget be much larger so cost is not a concern at present. If this passes then we can consider the more extreme proposal and recalculate the budget appropriately. |
