Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Retsforbundet would like to raise the retirement age.

We prefer a broad agreement, but we will settle for an agreement with our coalition partners if the socialist parties are not willing to negotiate.

MessageWe agree with raising the retirement age to 65 but oppose abolishing a minimum wage and prefer the current law.

MessageBut wouldn't it be better to give the unions and the employers the right to negotiate the minimum wage? - this would after all result in better agreements since they know more about what is needed to create a good and competitive company.

MessageWe cant abolish minimum wage, we should create a lack of need for unions not create a need for one. That's like creating a problem so someone else can fix it- or we could just not create the problem. We like the retirement age article though.

MessageThe best way of improving the competitiveness of businesses is to letting those who know the most about it decide which guidelines should be followed, politicians would not be capable to make better decisions than the unions and the employers. And Retsforbundet does not agree with UaF when you say that we should create a lack of need for unions, we need to ensure that every worker and every company is heard in Kazulia and this can only be ensured if the unions and the employers have extensive powers over the labour market.

MessageWe are willing to make a compromise with IL and UaF where you can negotiate with each other and then tell me to add another proposal that you would like to be a part of the bill (it must be an economical proposal though).

MessageOur apologies, but nothing will persuade us to abolish the minimum wage. Companies and unions are always free to negotiate wages but a federal law is much more efficient establishing a baseline salary that protects workers.

MessageWe believe that a national wage is not an efficient baseline salary, the unions and employer would be much better to decide which salary is good for their businesses.

If we can't reach an consensus regarding the article concerning the wage, we will of course remove it and put the bill to a vote.
