Message | Mr Speaker, What people need most from vital services is stability, a fair price and the knowledge the provide will still be there tomorrow. The "free market" can only get you so far, so it is necessary the people know that the Government is there to step in and help provide those goods and services, and no-one will miss out if the worst were to happen. Message | Mr. Speaker, So to provide stability, we should put the economy in the hands of politicians instead of leaving business to businessmen and businesswomen? We need to leave the economy to private individuals who know what they are doing. If industry falls, there will be individuals who will prop it back up. Ryan Marsh Former Minister of Trade and Industry |
Date | 22:01:22, April 28, 2013 CET | From | Capitalist Working Families | To | Debating the Free Market Act of 3476 |
Message | We believe in FREE MARKET economics, but it is just COMMON SENSE that if an industry fails, the gov't can intervene by nationalizing the industry to reform and reboot the industry and then sell it back to the market for profit. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
