Bill: Banning of Mines

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nouveau Parti Libéral (ZR)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3478

Description[?]:

1. Land mines usually kill civilians not soldiers
2. Land mines stick around a long time after the conflict has ended plaguing the communities which they reside
In short these weapons are basically sure to kill the innocents and are ineffective to kill our enemies. The NLP proposes a ban.

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.

Random quote: "The belief in the possibility of a short decisive war appears to be one of the most ancient and dangerous of human illusions." - Robert Lynd
