MessageMonsieur le président,

We welcome the proposals by the Aldurian Nationalist Party and thank them for providing debate that has been absent from our political culture in the last few years, but we cannot support some of the measures in this bill. We would be prepared to support Articles 3 and 4 becoming law, but articles 1, 2 and 5 would over-turn reforms this government has all ready implemented. I would ask the ANP to drop articles 1, 2 and 5 from this law so we can support its passage through the National Assembly.

MessageHonorable Speaker,

We are willing to drop the suggested articles at this time as we feel the importance of the two remaining articles outweigh the need for the passing of this complete bill. Upon the removing of articles 1,2 and 5 we will bring this bill to a vote and ask for support from the Progress Party.

Merlin Bert Schulz
Chairman of the ANP

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe
