Message | While the proposed titles are incredibly bland they would be a lot more neutral than the current ones. |

Message | I feel like a hypocrite for opposing this, but I've never like "prime minister" and "parliament" for some reason. |

Message | They are bland. We're only supporting them based on their neutrality. Minister of Government is simple and for some reason is a name no country uses for the position of head of government, maybe that could be an alternative? There are more unique alternatives to 'Parliament' too, though 'President' is generally the best name for head of state. |

Message | Yeah I like President, maybe congress or national assembly would be better. Senate sounds nice. |

Message | The CPI has no respect for tradition it seems. Radical constitutional re-branding, very conservative. |

Message | Actually, APS, I just want to say, I have in the past proposed similar reforms in a re-branding effort. I succeeded eventually in changing the flag. My effort was to distance the country from what many could think looks like to soviet union. (General Secretary, Presidium) And for the fact that some of the names make no sense. General Secretary should be if anything HoG, and the presidium should be renamed just due to the fact that historically presidium has to do with an executive branch, or in the case of the USSR, the up echelons of the Communist Party. So, while I am sure the NDP is coming from a different place, I am not entirely opposed to the effort. |

Message | I would also move that we change the official title of government to the "People's Democratic Republic of Ikradon" |

Message | This has more to do with that fact that, up until the CPI and NDP showed up, we were on the verge of being a post socialist utopia. |
Date | 12:09:18, May 04, 2013 CET | From | Conservative Party of Ikradon | To | Debating the CONSTITUNIONAL REFORMS |
Message | The current titles do not make sense. 'General-Secretary' would refer to the head of the largest communist party. 'Presidium', I believe, is something we don't have. We just have the 'Chairman of the Presidium', but there is no 'Presidium' to preside over. Or, if there is, I have never heard it be mentioned, nor do I know who's actually a member of the 'Presidium'. |
Date | 13:22:53, May 04, 2013 CET | From | Green-Left Communalist Collective | To | Debating the CONSTITUNIONAL REFORMS |
Message | Fair enough, re-branding the titles of our constitutional branches to sound less soviet, but 'Parliament' is unacceptable. Prime Minister and President are not only bland, but have connotations of aristocracy. |
Date | 13:23:40, May 04, 2013 CET | From | Green-Left Communalist Collective | To | Debating the CONSTITUNIONAL REFORMS |
Message | We will open a debate for the more liberal-conservative parties to air their views as well as the more egalitarian, emancipatory-socialist movements to propose ideas. |

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law. |
