Message | Articles 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 are hypercapitalist proposals that will induce chaos into what should otherwise be well run state/private co-op societal operations. Unregulated postal services?! Why is that even an option. Methinks your party t |

Message | Why should postal services be regulated when they'll be offering just that: postal services. Private postal services are a lot more efficient. Some of these proposals are things we've suggested before, so I don't need to repeat myself yet again to explain my reasoning behind them. However, these are proposals to make things more efficient and cheaper to run so we can make massive income tax cuts. |

Message | We would support Article 1, and that's it. We will propose a separate bill if this one doesn't pass. -Joe Phillips, Former Head of the Presidium and Leader of the Phillipsian Party |

Message | "Private postal services are a lot more efficient." Again, you are simply assuming that private means "more efficient". |

Message | OOC: Private postal services are much more efficient and cheaper. Look at Royal Mail as a good example of how bad nationalised postal companies are. |

Message | Wow, this proposal is atrocious, it will bankrupt Ikradon both financially and morally. It will literally lead to the death of our citizens, as well as cause massive instability. |

Message | 'It will literally lead to the death of our citizens' - hitting new lows. |

Message | It is rather had to argue that not supplying citizens with health care will literally kill them. A subsidy is hardly enough. Furthermore, postal work is very stressful, and, when in the past postal services have been privatized, a rush of suicides and workplace shootings have followed. Efficiency isn't always the best aim. (I site for both my argument the real life examples of the US post office following it's privatization, and the state of American health care) |

Message | 'that not supplying citizens with health care will literally kill them' - they'll get exactly the same, free healthcare, it'll just be operated by the private sector. |
Date | 17:46:50, May 05, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Communist Party (DCP) (LL) | To | Debating the Infrastructure Act 3480 |
Message | Subsidized does not mean 100 percent covered, and if it were, it would inevitably be more expensive or lower quality. |

Message | OOC: Well, in the other countries I played in their players assumed it meant 100% covered especially considering the alternative options. I intend it to be 100% covered anyway as much as you say otherwise. |
