Message | Mr. Chairman, while we recognise the importance of faith in our society, perhaps Articles 1 and 3 are somewhat excessive. Jacob Bergstrom, Chancellor |

Message | Mr. Chairman, I respectfully beg to differ. The said articles may - with good reason - be perceived as unduly coercive by some. While we too stand for traditional values, the curtailing of freedom of expression and the separation of church and state in practical matters - a symbolic state religion as a point of national unity being another thing altogether - are not things that we approve of. Message | Hon. Chancellor, surely you agree that the corrupt longtime rule of the Vuntätten has warped the morals of the people and they need gentle pushing towards the correct way of morals and correct beliefs. Such values are best instilled in children when they are young so they can treasure and follow them for life. Blasphemy is the only crime the Almighty won't forgive so it is best that we lovingly deter our people from committing it - ever. Gustav Enlund, HVP Chairman OOC: Yes, Mr Conservative indeed t'was ;) |

Message | Mr. Chairman, I would contend that gentle pushing does not include criminalising blasphemy. While I am personally a Hosian, I do not believe that other religions ought to be discriminated against by this law. Jacob Bergstrom, Chancellor |
